The ITLA Foundation: Making a Difference in Idaho's Courts

For many of us, this year has provided more personal and professional challenges than ever before. As trial lawyers, we recognize the impact the suspension of jury trials has had on our practices and our clients. While we all face many uncertainties in the year to come, we are unequivocal in our belief that justice happens in Idaho’s courtrooms.
A decade ago, the ITLA Foundation Inc. Amicus Program was established to provide independent and scholarly assistance to Idaho’s courts through friend-of-the-court briefings and arguments on issues of public interest. Since that time, the Amicus Committee has participated in some great cases which have influenced rule of law and preserved the constitutional right to trial by jury.
More than ever it is critical that we can continue this crucial work. While jury trials are on hold, the appellate courts are continuing to hear arguments and publish decisions.
As a member of ITLA you know the power of our unified voice advocating for the common interests. When citizen’s rights are advanced, our ability to advocate just causes becomes less burdensome and more impactful. Please make your tax-deductible contribution today.
