Congratulations to the 2021 James J. May Trial Lawyers of the Year R. Bruce Owens and Eric R. Rossman.

Bruce and Eric will be honored  Friday, June 18th during the Trial Lawyer of the Year Presentation at the 2021 ITLA Annual Meeting, Conference, and Seminar
Bruce Owens is a founding partner and Of Counsel at Owens, McCrea & Linscott, PLLC in Coeur d’Alene. Throughout his over forty years of practice, he has specialized in litigation involving medical negligence, premises liability, automobile negligence, insurance law, and contracts/commercial litigation. Bruce received his BA from Brigham Young University in 1969 and his JD from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1972. Bruce is a member of the Idaho and Washington state bar associations. He is also a longtime member of ITLA, AAJ, and the Washington State Association for Justice. An experienced litigator, Bruce has tried cases in all seven judicial district and is a former Certified Civil Trial Specialist. He has served as president of both the Idaho Law Foundation ITLA. Bruce currently serves on the Idaho Judicial Council. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Mountain States Super Lawyers, and has received a A.V. Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Bruce is married to his wife Judith and together they have six children.
Eric Rossman has dedicated his legal career to representing clients in catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and employment litigation in state and federal courts throughout Idaho. Eric is the founder and managing member of the Rossman Law Group PLLC. Eric has tried over fifty criminal and civil jury cases, numerous bench trials and arbitrations, and he has argued over twenty cases before state and federal appellate courts. He has recovered, through trial or settlement, in excess of eighty-million dollars for his clients. Eric is actively engaged in numerous dealings with the Idaho legislature on important legislation relating to employment, litigation, and immunity issues. A member of the ITLA and AAJ, Eric has been called upon to speak regarding matters within his areas of expertise. Eric is married to his wonderful wife Tiffany and he has five amazing children: Jordan, Kevin, Kelsey, Anthony, and Capri. Eric loves to ski, golf, travel, and spend time with his family at their second home in McCall.
