The Idaho Legislature is in its second week of the session. The House and Senate Committees are largely focused on the negotiated rulemaking process but, bills have begun to roll in. Highlights of this week include the first bill of the session was introduced, the State of the Judiciary Address by Chief Justice Roger Burdick, and the House Health and Welfare Committee supporting a 12th-grade immunization rule.

Lawyers in the Legislature 

Lawyers play a critical role in Idaho's citizen legislature. Twelve attorneys (including five ITLA members) are serving as senators and representatives this session. 

Lobby Day 

Join fellow trial lawyers for ITLA Lobby Day Wednesday, February 20th at the Idaho State Capitol Building. Lobby Day will provide members with an opportunity to meet their elected officials.
