The ITLA Street Law Clinic is designed to provide brief, on-the-spot legal information to clients on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the clinic is currently operating telephonically.
Clients interested in participating in the clinic can submit this online form through 12:00 p.m. the day of the clinic. And, as we are not limited geographically, we can serve persons throughout Idaho. We will accept a limited number of persons per clinic based on the order of submission.
Clients must be available to receive a phone call between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. MST on the day of the clinic. The call will be from an unknown number. Due to logistical constraints, we are not able to provide specific time slots. If a call is unanswered, that person will be put back into the queue to be called back, time permitting.
The ITLA Street Law Clinic is staffed by volunteer law students and attorneys. This is a cooperative effort to help members of our community and aid law students and practitioners in their pro bono and volunteer efforts. All legal advice is provided on behalf of a licensed attorney.
Visitors of the ITLA Street Law Clinic are only allowed one visit unless you have a follow-up question regarding the same legal issue or case, or if you have a new issue entirely.
All legal issues and questions must pertain to Idaho law. Please check the Court Assistance Office for forms and additional resources.
The ITLA Street Law Clinic operates on the second and fourth Monday of every month unless the day falls on a holiday. For dates, please visit the ITLA Calendar.
For questions, please call ITLA at (208) 345-1890.
