The Clinic has been canceled at least through September as the Boise Public Library has closed due to concerns of the COVID -19 virus.

The ITLA Street Law Clinic is designed to provide on-the-spot legal advice to walk-in clients on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at the downtown branch of the Boise Public Library.  This is a cooperative effort to help members of our community and aid law students and practitioners in their pro bono and volunteer efforts.

The ITLA Street Law Clinics begin at 4:00 p.m. and end promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Check-in begins at 3:45 p.m. and no new intakes are allowed after 5:30 p.m.

There is no guarantee that you will be seen day you attend. If you are not seen that day, you will be given priority at the next available clinic.

Wait time is undetermined. Please feel free to use the restrooms or step out of the waiting area, but if your name is called while you are away you will be pushed back in line.

The ITLA Street and Family Law Clinics are staffed by volunteer law students and attorneys. You will be provided legal advice on behalf of a licensed attorney.

Frequent visitors of the ITLA Street Law Clinic are only tolerated if you have a follow-up question regarding the same legal issue or case, or if you have a new issue entirely.

If your case is in Ada County, please check the Court Assistance Office page for forms and additional resources.

The ITLA Street Law Clinic operates on the second and fourth Monday of every month. For dates, please visit the ITLA Calendar.

For questions, please call ITLA at 208-345-1890.
