ITLA monitors all state legislation and facilitates lobbying and expert testimony on issues which affect your clients’ legal options. ITLA members provide Idaho Lawmakers with critical information necessary to pass just and Constitutionally sound laws that work for Idaho citizens.

The ITLA Governmental Relations Committee reviews legislation introduced each year and determines the whether or not to support, oppose or remain neutral on issues which impact the practice of law in Idaho. The Committee also considers changes to the current law and whether ITLA should introduce legislation which might impact the members and their practice.
